DESCRIPTION
A final year project taking place over 5 months. The focus of this project was to explore and improve upon my skill to utilise a virtual space for Level Design.

Working with the player's perception of the space and their perspective. Iterating from playtests and coming to a final look and feel for the level.
​
The level is experienced through a basic puzzler.

1st Iteration
The principle of the first iteration was to utilise the player's perception of the space and puzzles.
Playing with their perception and finding the correct balance of guidance and misinterpretation.
The space drew the player's attention toward the most important aspect of the puzzle in each room.

The end goal of the puzzle need to be explored by the player and never fully aligned with their perception.

Final Iteration
After testing, a final iteration was decided upon to develop. What you see on this section is its final sate after more playtests , changes and design considerations.
Design Focus
The focus of this iteration was to utilise level design methodology in a more applicable state. Utilising the change in space, player perspective and guiding lines to influence the player.
The players perception is altered yet catered per section of the level in how they feel and the puzzles present. Using the psychology of the player to help them feel the need to explore the space or move around it naturally.
